Your Question:
a member of staff made an allegation of racism about myself,consequently a meeting was held between my line manager and myself where the allegation was read to me and i was asked questions(myself and 2 members of staff have been racist alledgedly my self for not talking to the said employee although there are more than 100 staff i come in to contact with and im positive that nothing should come from this investigation)
Some time after this meeting i was speaking to 2 other managers on my level i told them that a member of staff had made an allegation about me but no names were mentioned and the text of the conversation was not mentioned.
i have since been summoned for a disciplinary for breech of confidentiality
where do i stand as no names were mentioned and am i not allowed to mention the first matter to any one even if i wish to call carector witnesses as to my previous standing with employees incidentaly we have a work force of 100+ of all races and nationalities
