Your Question:
I am a Field Service Engineer that as a requirement of my job travels from CT to Singapore for work. Home to hotel is 32 hours. The first day is 19 hours of travel time and is so noted on my time sheet. My employer paid 14 hours claiming that is the maximum allowable under the Company Travel Time Allowance Policy. Is this legal and if so, how?
