I am looking for a caculator that will calulate weight limits put on 3/16 wire rope. (zip line)The wire rope has a breaking strength of 4200 lbs and a max load of 800lbs. What I want to be able to do is calulate different weights at different lengths as needed like can a 250lb person be safe on a 400 foot line. How do I know how much to tension the line (ft lbs) to carry a given weight within the given spec.s? What would be nice is an online java calulator or software ...if you can help let me know
